It’s difficult to conceive in its dilapidated and graffitied state that this was once the room where Lady Meux is believed to have dined with the Prince of Wales, Edward VII and Winston Churchill.
One of our favourite parts of recording the major restoration to the Monument was the installation of the new viewing platform cage on 11 October 2008. We are currently converting some old DV footage taken during the dismantling of Temple Bar at Theobalds Park. Workman are preparing the site for the portacabins. This footage was shot in 2003.
